In choosing accommodation some students will consider the college location most important; for others it will be the type or cost of the room. When completing the online form you will be asked to state which is more important to you. 

Where possible we will allocate you your first preference of room; however, the limited number of rooms means not all students will get their first choice. If we are not able to give you your first choice, we will try to match your requirements as closely as we can.

The online application form for on campus accommodation will ask you to choose a College location and then specify your room type requirements according to what is available at that College. Some Colleges offer more room types than others. 

Some types of students will only be eligible to live in certain halls. For instance, all PGCE students are housed in Linden, Froebel, and other postgraduate students are housed in Whitelands College. Please see our halls of residence pages for information about what accommodation is available at each college.
