Chaplaincy

The Digby Stuart Chaplaincy works within the College and with other areas of the University to support the personal, professional, spiritual and intellectual development of those who live and work here. The College Chaplain, Rev Dr Robert Kaggwa, who is also a member of staff in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies, lives on campus and has an office in Erasmus House. The College Chaplaincy operates as part of the University Chaplaincy Team. The Chaplaincy is the focus for Catholic worship at Roehampton, and as part of the Chaplaincy Team it supports many ecumenical activities and interfaith worship.

The Chaplaincy organises social gatherings such as Tuesdays' Fairtrade lunches, opportunities for participating in sacred and religious musical activities and organises the College Leadership Programme. It also runs the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS), which is validated by the Board of Studies of the Bishop's Conference of England and Wales.

The Chaplaincy provides an area for meetings, relaxation, and small social events and activities. It is located on the ground floor of Erasmus House and is known as the Chaplaincy Base.
