Service Learning in French or Spanish

About the course

French is estimated as having up to 100 million native speakers as well as around 190 million second language speakers and is the second-most studied foreign language in the world. This course equips you with the linguistic skills to travel and work among French-speaking people, and also to explore their history and culture. You can join the course as a complete beginner, with A-level French, or as a near-native speaker. Modules emphasise the vocational opportunities afforded by the study of a foreign language and from the second year on are mostly taught in French. The third year is normally spent studying or working in a French-speaking country.
