Maintenance loans from the Student Loans Company (SLC)
UK students can receive support for living costs by taking out a maintenance loan from the government via the SLC. This can be repaid, along with your tuition fee loan, if you have one, after you graduate. For full details and how to apply, see the Directgov website.
Tuition fee loans from the Student Loans Company (SLC)
UK students: you are eligible to receive a loan from the government via the SLC to cover your annual tuition fees. This can be repaid, along with your maintenance loan, if you have one, after graduation. EU students: From now on, applications should go to Student Finance England - not to your local authority. For more details, see the Direct.gov.uk website.
Postgraduate certificates and diplomas
If you are intending to embark on a certificate or diploma please see our fees classification table and calculate the cost by the number of credits you will be studying. For example, a Band 1 masters degree programme costs £7,700 for 180 credits. If you are only studying 60 credits the cost would be £2,520.
You can find out how many credits you will be studying on the course pages. Certificates and diplomas can be part of our postgraduate programmes or within our Professional Development and Other Courses section. For any questions, email: finance@roehampton.ac.uk.
