All eligible postgraduate students from outside the UK or EU who achieve qualifications on entry meeting the criteria outlined on the table below will receive a substantial award from the Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship Scheme.
The University of Roehampton and the Society of the Sacred Heart have established the Sacred Heart Scholarship to encourage postgraduate studies and research in areas which promote international understanding and which enable candidates to work more effectively in their communities upon completion of their studies.

The University of Roehampton in collaboration with the British Council and India’s GREAT Campaign are offering 9 new scholarship awards for January 2015 intake.
20 Scholarships are available to international students at all levels of study, including postgraduate research.
International students can apply for The Fulbright-University of Roehampton Award in Dance and the The Fulbright-University of Roehampton Scholar Award.
The University of Roehampton participates in the prestigious Commonwealth Shared Scholarships Scheme. This highly-regarded scholarship covers the entire cost of tuition fees, living and travel expenses for the duration of a postgraduate course. This means, if you are from a developing Commonwealth country you may gain the benefit of a Roehampton postgraduate degree without any costs.
The University of Roehampton offers 8 Scholarships for musicians. Two scholarships are available in each College, and each Scholarship is for two years, subject to an annual review.
A number of Scholarships are available to attract and reward students for their commitment to sporting excellence. In addition Roehampton offers a support network designed to encourage talented sports men/women to meet their full potential not only in their chosen sport but also in their academic studies.
Four Whitelands bursaries are offered to students who have a talent for sport and are studying an academic course or living in Whitelands College.
As a member of the TECHNE AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership, University of Roehampton applicants for PhD study (and some current PhD students) are eligible to apply for Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) studentships (stipend and fee waiver) to start 1 October 2014.
