• International Summer School

    Our summer school offers you the chance to continue your academic studies by taking courses relating to your major, minor or general education over a three- or six-week period.

    Roehampton is a small, friendly, collegiate community where students can live, learn and socialise together on a beautiful and  historic campus in southwest London. We offer a range of excellent facilities as well as easy access to the world-class museums, libraries and galleries of London. By embarking on this period of study you will experience British university life, make new friends and immerse yourself in London, one of the world’s most exciting and cosmopolitan cities.

    Whatever your nationality, our summer school aims to help you progress with your academic career whilst living in London.

  • Academic offering

    We offer an exciting variety of modules, all developed by academics with national or international reputations for their research, so you will learn in an environment that is rich in creativity and new ideas. We are running two academic sessions that each run for three weeks. You will study one module of 20 UK credits per session can come for either one or both sessions, earning a maximum of 40 UK credits.

  • The Social Programme

    We are delighted to offer students the chance to take part in our exciting University of Roehampton International Summer School Social Programme. The aim of the Social Programme is to enhance your time with us outside the classroom by organising weekend trips, day trips and evening activities in London that will offer you further insight into British culture, history and society whilst having fun with your fellow students. The full social programme will be posted in April 2012. 

  • Credit transfer

    Your home institution will need to pre-approve your chosen course of study at Roehampton if you want to apply credits received at Roehampton to your degree. If you require any help from us with this, for example a full module syllabus, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Each module is worth 20 UK credits which is equivalent to 5 US credits. Upon completion of our summer school, you will receive an official transcript from Roehampton.

  • Entry Requirements

    We welcome applications from students wherever you are from who meet the following criteria:

    • Have a minimum 2.8 GPA or equivalent
    • Have finished high school or equivalent
    • Be 18 years or older

    Along with a completed application form you will be expected to submit the following documents:

    • Your most recent transcript
    • Personal statement
    • Academic reference
