Professor of Journalism Ros Coward has spent a week as 'guest editor' at the Centre de Formation des Journalistes in Paris. She was there to help students prepare for articles written on the forthcoming general election in France.

Sixteen postgraduate students at the Centre were asked to contribute comment pieces for the Huffington Post on 'the other Presidential election: France.'

Professor Coward helped the students to formulate ideas, learn about comment writing, prepare for interviews with leading politicians (including François Hollande and Dominique de Villepin) and to edit their final drafts.

Some of the articles are already online, with others set to appear in the near future. Together they will make up a special dossier on the french elections.
