Key to Abbreviations

Room codes

Each room is referred to by a 5-digit room code.

• First two characters (i.e. letters) of the room code denote the building.
• Third character denotes the floor or storey (B: Basement, 0: Ground floor, 1: First floor, etc.).
• Fourth and fifth characters of the room code give the number of the room.

e.g. QB022: Queen's Building (Southlands), ground floor, room 22.
