Welcome to the University Academic Office Web Pages

The University Academic Office is located at Froebel on the first floor of the Lawrence Building and comes under the Academic Registrar (Jonathan Morgan) who is based in Room La 106.

The business of the office currently includes:

• the maintenance of Taught Programme Details;
• the maintenance of the Academic Regulations;
• the Credit Accumulation Transfer Scheme [CATS];
• the University’s framework for quality assurance which covers approval and review, programme annual review, programme modification and external examining;
• collaborative provision activity covering Associated Institutions, Off-site delivery, SCITTs, Foundation Degrees and European initiatives; the servicing of several University committees and sub-committees (Curriculum Strategy Committee, Learning, Teaching and Quality Committee, Academic Quality Subcommittee);
• The Academic Office works closely with the following School-based personnel:
• Quality and Standards Advisers [QASAs]
• School Academic Advisers
• Programme Conveners
