Erasmus Mundus MA Special Education Needs

The Erasmus Mundus SEN Programme will not be running during the academic year 2010-11.

This one-year full-time programme is taught in English in the UK, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. It is an EU-approved programme with three partners:

  • Roehampton University (London, UK)
  • Fontys University (Tilburg, The Netherlands)
  • Charles University (Prague, Czech Republic).

The final award is a joint degree between Roehampton University and Charles University. The partners equally contribute to the whole programme and share responsibility for its delivery.

Students are based in the Netherlands for most of the programme, but are also taught in the UK and the Czech Republic for short periods. The programme requires successful completion of 90 ECTS (UK equivalent is 180 credits at masters level).

The programme starts in London in late August every year with a two-week intensive course. In mid-September the group goes to the Netherlands where it is based until mid-March. Those students selecting the Inclusion Module (Czech Republic) go to Prague for the last two weeks of March. Students are then based in the most appropriate country to complete their dissertations.
