If you are not a student at one of these universities, you will not be eligible to come to Roehampton on the Erasmus programme. However, you may be able to register on our fee-paying Study Abroad programme. You can also view further information for European students.
If you would like to study at Roehampton University as an Erasmus student, the first step is to be nominated by your home university. They must send confirmation of your nomination to the Erasmus Coordinator at Roehampton before the application deadline of either 1 May (for Autumn Term or full-year students) or 15 October (for Spring/Summer Term students). Your home university may require you to apply formally before they can nominate you.
Download an Erasmus Application Form (Word).
The application asks for some background information and also for the modules you would like to take during your exchange. Further information about module selection can be found below. The deadline for receipt of applications is 1 May (for Autumn Term or full-year students) or 15 October (for Spring/Summer Term students).
You must also complete the following two documents and send them with your application form:

Full-year and Autumn Term applications: 1 May
Spring/Summer Term applications: 15 October
Applications received after these dates will normally be rejected.
Module lists are published in mid-April for the following academic year. They can be found on our programme webpages. These webpages show lists of modules divided by academic level (HE1 for first-year modules, HE2 for second-year modules and HE3 for third-year modules) Module choices can vary significantly from year to year, so it is essential that you use this website to find your modules.
A full-time student will study for 60 Roehampton credits each term; this equals 30 ECTS credits. You normally will not be able to take more than 60 Roehampton credits per term (although if you are at Roehampton for a full year, it may be permissible to take 70 credits in one term and 50 credits in another).
All the information you need to select your modules is given in the module code. This code contains information on the subject area, number of credits, academic level, identification code and term of each module.
Here is a breakdown of a sample module code, which is for ‘Origins & Developments of Children’s Literature’:
Module code: ENG020N231A
Breakdown: ENG 020 N 231 A
Important note: Students who will be at Roehampton for an entire academic year may take modules ending in 'A', 'S' or 'Y'. Students who will study at Roehampton during the Autumn term must only choose modules ending in 'A', and students who will study at Roehampton during the Spring/Summer Term must only choose modules ending in 'S'. Some 'Y' modules have been split into autumn and spring components, so they can be taken by students who are only at Roehampton for one term. You can see a list of these modules on our website.
You can apply for on-campus accommodation and find out more about off-campus accommodation through our Accommodation Office. The University accommodation website contains detailed information about our halls of residence as well as information about finding housing in London.
