International students

Living expenses

Students’ needs and expectations vary – some students require more money than others during their time at university. The on-campus Students’ Union is a great source of information on how to keep expenses down, where to find a bargain and how to manage a budget.

Many international students choose to work during their studies and benefit from the advice given by Roehampton’s Careers Service. International students can work for up to 20 hours per week. As the minimum wage in the UK is set at £5.52 an hour many find working is a useful way supporting the cost of living.
