Roehampton University
Open Spaces. Open Minds.
The information on this page is for students from other universities around the world wanting to come to Roehampton University on a Study Abroad programme.
Studying abroad is the best way to develop an appreciation for other countries and cultures while preparing you for the challenges and opportunities of our global society. At Roehampton we believe your Study Abroad experience in the UK will help you achieve both your personal and professional goals as employers and graduate schools are increasingly looking for applicants who have experience abroad.
If you are hoping to spend a semester or a year at Roehampton on a Study Abroad programme, please request a brochure.
To view modules offered by Roehampton University, please go to the undergraduate homepage, go to your programme's webpage and under the ‘in detail’ tab, select ‘full programme details’. Scroll down to view all modules within the programme.
Modules can be selected up to a maximum of 60 credits per semester or 120 credits per academic year. 10 UK credits are considered to be equivalent to 3 US credits/5 ECTS.
Updated module (course) information for 2010/11 will be uploaded to the Roehampton University website programme pages by mid April 2010.
Please note that some year-long modules have been split in credit to allow Autumn or Spring only attendees to enrol on half of a year-long module with appropriate assessment and credit. A list of pre-approved split Y modules can be found on StudentZone.
Students are strongly recommended to select ‘A’ modules when attending in Autumn and ‘S’ modules for attendance in Spring/Summer wherever possible. Please do not select ‘A’ modules if attending in Spring or vice versa.

Study Abroad at Roehampton is available for full-time study only, which would normally be 60 credits (30 ECTS) per semester or 120 credits (60 ECTS) per academic year. Your programme of study is subject to approval by the Programme Conveners for your selected modules.
Once accepted, all applicants will be required to complete registration procedures on arrival at the University. The application form is not a registration form and is not a letter of acceptance. Students must provide an official copy of their most current university transcript with their application.
