The School of Arts offers a very active research community for both staff and students. There are sixteen research centres, ranging from the strongly project-focussed to those drawing in foreign scholars and professional practitioners. Within a framework stressing inter-disciplinarity, the School hosts disciplines of practice and performance as well as those of textual study and production. All the centres hold regular seminars and conferences.
