Social Sciences research

The interests and publications of the sociologists and social anthropologists within the School range from theoretical issues to the immediacy of current social policy issues and we are at the forefront of theoretical and applied work in the broad areas of social diversity and social justice. Many of our researchers have shared interests in the areas of: 

  • migration
  • transnationalism
  • ethnicities and diasporic communities
  • religious identities
  • gender rights and employment
  • governance and organisations 
  • gender and diversity
  • non-profit management.

Criminology
