Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)
KTPs are projects supported by Technology Strategy Boards (TSB) grants, which encourage collaborations and knowledge exchange between businesses and universities for mutual benefit.
KTPs can range from one to three years, during which time businesses receive support from a graduate (recruited to work on the project) under the supervision of the academic experts.
Our University gets the opportunity to bring real-world cutting edge solutions back to the classroom, and receives funding for the academics involved. The KTP can also offer great opportunities for papers and research.
For more information on how to work with the University contact the Business Partnerships & Services Team - Research & Business Development Office or visit the KTP website.
