Roehampton University
Open Spaces. Open Minds.
Froebel College is set in 4 acres of landscaped grounds. Grove House, where you will find our main reception, is an English Heritage listed building, built in the eighteenth century. It retains much of its original character. Some of our lecture and boardrooms, such as the Terrace Room, Portrait Room, Adam Room and Panelled Room are located in the main house.
Froebel's residential accommodation comprises 330 bedrooms, 157 of which are single en-suite rooms arranged in flatlets. There are also four bedrooms, which have been specially designed for disabled visitors.
The largest hall is the Montefiore Hall, which has a seating capacity of 350. The Portrait Room, a beautifully panelled room with chandeliers, can seat up to 160. Another addition is our new Jebb Auditorium, which can seat 100.
All are equipped with their own PA systems. Our main boardrooms can seat between 25 and 40; they are the Terrace Room, Adam Room and the Panelled Room. There are a variety of lecture and seminar rooms varying in size, which can accommodate groups from 10 to 90. Also available is the fully equipped Michaelis Dance Theatre and Studio.
Full catering services are available in the Montefiore Diner, where all dietary and individual needs can be catered for.
Froebel College offer facilities for corporate events, product launches, weddings, conferences and as a film set location.
