Michael has been CFO of a real estate businesses for the last twenty plus years, including at two of Blackstone’s largest real estate platforms: Invitation Homes, a US residential property investor and operator that acquired > $13bn of single family homes; and Sage Housing in the UK, which acquired > £2bn affordable housing units.
Michael’s career has focussed on identifying investment opportunities in the real estate space and building platforms to acquire, finance and manage them efficiently to drive scale, strong customer focus and attractive investor returns.
Currently Michael is part-time CFO for HSPG which delivers affordable housing throughout the UK. In addition he is the Treasurer of the Froebel Trust and a Trustee of the University of Roehampton.
Michael graduated with a BA in Mathematics from Oxford University and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
