Reverend Dr Tim Macquiban

The Revd Dr Tim Macquiban qualified as a professional archivist followed by ten years working in local government, the latter part as a senior manager. Tim then spent the rest of his career as a Methodist minister, 17 years of which were in higher education, teaching history and managing a centre at Oxford, and at Sarum College in Salisbury.

Tim’s last two appointments in local ministry were as Superintendent Minister in Cambridge and Rome (where he was Director of the Methodist Ecumenical Office). Since retiring Tim has become involved with a number of voluntary roles in heritage, education and ecumenism.
