Education has a long history at Roehampton with the original mission of the four colleges within the University being concerned with the training of teachers. Today the School of Education has an international reputation for teacher education, early childhood studies and education studies.

The School of Education is based at Froebel College at Roehampton. Our staff are enthusiastic and dedicated to creating rich and diverse programmes of study and our work combines the very best professional practice with the strength of our national and international research in education.

Staff are involved in research and publication and in the provision of professional development and consultancy on and off-site and overseas, as well as in teaching at all levels. We have developed strong international links and we welcome students from all backgrounds and cultures.
