Research is a strongly supported, central element in the School of Education: publication and dissemination to academic and professional communities are integral parts of our activity.
RAE News
Research in the School of Education has been given a resounding endorsement by the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008. Thirty per cent of the research submitted is regarded as world leading or internationally excellent and 70% as internationally or nationally recognised. It also showed that of all post 1992 university Departments of Education, Roehampton University, School of Education had the highest percentage of academics submitted for the exercise. This result further demonstrates the excellent quality of our research and gives us a clear and firm basis for its future development.
