University of Roehampton, Froebel College
17:00 - 19:00
If you're considering a PGCE course for 2019 then come to this open event at the University of Roehampton, one of the UK's leading and longest-running providers of teacher training. The event is aimed at future primary and secondary teachers alike. A general teacher training talk and student panel will start at 6pm in The Portrait Room, Grove House and then the audience will split into primary and secondary groups for more bespoke presentations, discussion and a Q&A session.
There will be the chance to chat informally with staff and other prospective students over a glass of wine after the talks. The event will end at 8pm. Please arrive by 5.45pm at the latest at the Froebel Gate entrance on Roehampton Lane, from where Grove House will be signposted.
Prospective Secondary school teachers are also invited to come and observe subject teaching sessions in the afternoon from 1.30pm - 4.30pm, to see at first hand how we train teachers at Roehampton. We will write to you with details of how to attend these sessions if you select 'secondary' as your course of interest when registering. View our PGCE secondary subjects.
