Alumni Services and Benefits

Careers service

If you graduated in the last three years, why not use our careers service. We can help you clarify your ideas and achieve your career goals. You can also talk with our careers advisers and attend employers' events.

Library services

Alumni can apply for external library membership. For a current annual fee of £50, members may have full use of the library for reference purposes and access to other University Library facilities. Each member may take up to two loans at any time.

To join, download an application form and return it with the fee, to the Library at the address shown.  Smart photo ID cards are now in operation and these will be issued to alumni on their first visit.

 Associate membership of Roehampton Students' Union (RSU)

Alumni are automatically awarded Associate membership of Roehampton Student Union (RSU). Membership is free and alumni can benefit from the services and activities provided by the RSU.

There is a regular evening events programme both on and off campus. As an Associate member, you and one guest can attend events and compare the experience to when you studied here. You must pre-register your name and that of your guest via alumni@roehampton.ac.uk prior to the event. Visit the RSU website for further information.

College of Teachers

As an institutional member of the College of Teachers, Roehampton can offer its alumni individual membership of the College of Teachers at a reduced UK rate of £25 or £30 for those based overseas. (Deduct £3 if paying by direct debit). Further information on the details and benefits of joining is available at the College of Teachers website.

Conference and Hospitality at Roehampton

The Reader - Alumni Special Offer

The Reader is a quarterly literary magazine aimed at everyone who reads for serious pleasure. Alumni subscription rates are UK: £24, £38 and £57 for one, two and three years respectively and £30, £48 and £72 for those based overseas. (4 issues per year) All prices include postage and packing. Subscriptions can be bought directly from The Reader Office or their website. Please mention that you graduated from Roehampton.

The Gourmet Society Membership scheme

Gourmet Society membership usually costs £53.50 for 12 months but Roehampton University alumni can join at the discounted rate of £25 for a year with an extra two months free. The Gourmet Society has teamed up with almost a 1,000 restaurants across the UK.  Choose either '2 meals for the price of 1' or 25% off the total food and drink bill at a range of establishments from independent Michelin starred eateries to national chains. Members receive a card and directory. Simply select a restaurant from the list, book a table, enjoy the meal and present your card. Your saving will be automatically deducted from your bill.
