The Graduate School aims to provide support for research students in many ways, but particularly through its Personal Development Programme and Research Methods Training Programme.
The Graduate School provides an opportunity for research students from different disciplines and backgrounds to meet, share ideas and socialise.
This is an exciting time for the Graduate School as our research student body grows and new facilities are made available. The Graduate School currently supports students studying for research degrees through the following means:
Above all, the Graduate School provides an opportunity for the views of research students to be heard. Its overseeing body, the Graduate School Board, feeds back research student issues to other key departments within the University including the Library, IT & Media Services, the International Centre, the Student Advice Centre, the Student’s Union and the academic Schools.
The Graduate School was founded to ensure that the needs and expectations of Roehampton’s research students are met; enabling our research student community to make the most of their studies and helping to equip our graduates for a successful future.
