We aim to provide comprehensive services, advice and support in all employment matters, ensuring high professional standards of personnel practice and competence at all times.

Our vision will require a pro-active approach to Human Resources Management at the University and the ability of managers to lead and support their staff through change and the new demands that will arise.

Our primary objective is therefore to provide the strategic and operational framework for Roehampton to recruit and retain good staff and to maximise the potential of all its employees. To this end, we deal with a whole range of personnel issues including recruitment, pay and grading, policy development, staff relations, employment contract changes and training and development - including support towards the Investors in People Standard, all of which are under-pinned by the theme of equality and opportunity.
