Absence and Leave

The University needs to know when you are not here, because this can affect your pay and your superannuation.

With the exception of absence on annual leave, which you should agree directly with your line manager, HR need to be informed of any sickness absence (on the appropriate reporting form and signed by a Head of Department/School) and any other paid or unpaid absence, such as study leave or unpaid leave.

We also need you to tell us if you become pregnant so that we can get a risk assessment done and advise you on your maternity pay and leave entitlements.
