Roehampton University
Open Spaces. Open Minds.
We are delighted to announce that the University is now offering the opportunity to ride a tax-free bike to work. We have partnered with Cyclescheme Ltd. who will help us to run our Cycle to Work Scheme in accordance with the Government’s guidelines.
As an example, you can ride a £600 bike to work for less than one pound a day and these payments are spread out over the hire term (which is usually 12 months).
In order to learn more about the scheme, please go to www.cyclescheme.co.uk where you can find a savings calculator and bike shop finder amongst a host of other useful information. The University's employer code is a/27a5.
Please note that savings are affected by a company's tax status and finance arrangements and your personal level of taxation/NI. Roehampton University is a registered charity and cannot claim back VAT so when using the savings calculator tick the box where it says "My employer can't claim back VAT" in order to get a more accurate calculation of your saving.
The Frequently Asked Questions section has a search engine to answer any queries you may have.
