Roehampton University and the Newham Asian Women’s Project are to address the ongoing issue of violence against women, following a funding grant of more than £110, 000 from the Economic and Social Research Council.
The collaboration is the second such successful knowledge transfer partnership for the University’s School of Business and Social Sciences, led by Senior Lecturer in Marketing Dr Lynn Lim and Senior Lecturer in Criminology Dr Aisha Gill, and supported by Assistant Dean of Enterprise Daljit Kang.
The project will develop a marketing development and business processes model over the next two years for the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) sector on violence against women, and to disseminate the knowledge of a generic model to related NGOs.
