Languages for All
Languages for All modules are open to all Roehampton University students and staff as well as members of the public.
Whether you are a beginner or an intermediate student with GCSE, our courses (one class of two hours per week) are practical, conversation-oriented, career-boosting, and above all enjoyable.
Each one-semester course lasts 12 weeks and can give you 10 credits toward your final degree – a good way to broaden your studies, meet students from other subject areas and improve your career prospects.
This year we are introducing classical languages so you can enjoy the study of classical and sacred texts from past civilisations.
Please check with your Programme Convener before registering. Please note that modules may not run if groups are too small.

Costs
- Roehampton students (with credits): free if taken as part of an agreed degree programme of studies (10 CATS credits are equivalent to 5 ECTS credits).
- Roehampton University staff (no credits): £120* (no transferable credits). Please check eligibility for staff development and consult your relevant Line Manager.
- General public (no credits): £180 (no transferable credits).
- General public (with credits): £266 (10 CATS credits are equivalent to 5 ECTS credits).
