Centre for Research in Film and Audiovisual Cultures (CRFAC)
About us
The Centre aims to advance critical, historical, analytic and practical research relating to film and other audiovisual media. It supports research on cinema, television, video/DVD, interactive platforms and online media. While examining these media separately, the Centre is also interested in exploring inter-media relationships.
The Centre holds a series of seminars, usually once a month on Wednesday late afternoons, and various other events.
The Centre is also co-hosting the third edition of Documentary Now! to be held on 15/16 January 2010 at Birkbeck College.
