Teaching

I teach a range of modules concerned with the design and development of databases used to support a variety of information systems applications. These modules form part of the undergraduate computing course and the post graduate MSc Information Systems. Additionally I am the module convener for third year final projects.

Areas of Specific Interest

Database design, development and management with particular skills in the use of Oracle software for database implementation. Systems Analysis and Design with particular skills in the use of SSADM and DSDM project methodologies. PL/SQL, VBA, C++ programming.

Expertise

My area of specialism is in the design and implemenatation of information systems. Typically this involves the modelling of business requirements and the subsequent implementation of these using appropriate software. My experience is particularly slanted toward Oracle products.
