I am principal lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at Roehampton University. I currently teach on the BA in Early Childhood Studies and contribute to the MA and PhD programmes.

Research Interests & Expertise

My current research interests include:
• Professional development in early years settings
• Educational policy and its translation into practice.
• Innovative methods of data collection in early years research

Teaching Expertise

I am interested in new approaches to teaching and assessment in the Early Childhood Studies programmes, and have recently introduced patchwork text to an HE 3 module. I am currently developing collaboarative assessments and interactive teaching approaches with other staff in team-taught modules.
