Hiroko Fumoto is a Senior Lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at Roehampton University, and Programme Convener for the MA Early Childhood Studies. She has wide experience of working with young children in nursery schools in Japan and in UK. Her particular research interests include teachers' perceptions of teacher-child relationships in early childhood settings, and influence of culture on early childhood practice.
