About
Lis Austin is a Lecturer in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. She
has taught at Roehampton since 2005. Lis teaches and convenes a range of
modules across the undergraduate programme. Her main focus is on
twentieth and twenty first century art and performance. She regularly
convenes and teaches classes such as Postmodern Practices of
Performance; Modernism, Performance and the Avant-Garde; and many others
across the first, second and third years. Her teaching focuses on
theory and practice, lecture, seminar and workshop.
Other Professional Interest:
Lis has been the Chair of the board of trustees for Dante or Die Theatre Company for the past two years.
