I have been an English lecturer at Roehampton for over 20 years. My teaching interests are mainly in Nineteenth-century American literature, Twentieth-century literature of the American South, and the short story.

I am co-ordinator of the EML School recruitment team and am keen to encourage widening access to higher education.

Literary passions set to run high at Desert Island Books event

Three celebrated authors will take part in a Desert Island Discs style event when they share the books they would take to the proverbial uninhabited island with audiences at this year’s Wimbledon Book Festival.

Students give University a first in key nationwide survey
