About

I have been an English lecturer at Roehampton for over 20 years. My teaching interests are mainly in Nineteenth-century American literature, Twentieth-century literature of the American South, and the short story.

I am co-ordinator of the EML School recruitment team and am keen to encourage widening access to higher education.

Dedication means more students set to graduate with first and 2:1 degrees

Celebrations, gowns and mortarboards will be the order of the day when 1,900 students graduate from the University of Roehampton, in ceremonies at the Royal Festival Hall on London’s Southbank on Monday and Tuesday.

The ninth annual Wimbledon BookFest is back this autumn bringing the worlds of literature, the arts, popular culture, film and sport to Wimbledon Common for 10 days in October.
