As the world economy becomes increasingly global, with world trade and the European Union expanding, and the industrialisation of China, India and Russia, there is a growing demand for graduates who can work at an international level. 

On this course, you will develop a solid understanding of business and management and learn how to operate in a cross-cultural environment, with the ability to respond to the challenges of globalisation. You'll leave equipped with the skills to help you build a successful career.

Year-by-year summary

First year

In your first year, you'll gain a firm foundations in modern business principles. Taught by our expert team of staff, recent modules we have offered recently have included Business Skills, People and Organisations, Marketing and Enterprise and Business Economics. We also offer a range of foreign languages, which might include Frence, Spanis, Arabic or Mandarin.

Second year

In your second year you'll continue to enhance your knowledge and skills, but you'll also get to focus on areas that interest you. Examples may include International Business Environment, Managing Organisations. The European Economy, Marketing Management,and Entrepreneurship. If you are a UK student, you'll spend a semester overseas in a partner institution studying business to an equivalent level to Roehampton-based students. If you are an international student, you'll typically stay at Roehampton and select modules from our wide variety of options.

Third year

In your final year, you'll study at an advanced level, building on the international experience developed during your second year. You'll continue to extend and deepen your business knowledge and practice and will develop a international research project.
