In the past, each of Roehampton’s four colleges had their own unique scarves, however over time the tradition faded and the scarves went out of use. But this year the decision was made to reintroduce the scarves to each of the colleges.

The project of bringing the scarves back to Roehampton was undertaken by University Historian Gilly King, who spent considerable time verifying the authenticity of the colours, designs and materials. Some of the scarves date back as far as the 1940’s and we are delighted to now be able to reintroduce them. The scarves are now available to buy on the University of Roehampton page of the Campus Clothing Website.
