The University of Roehampton is almost unique in UK higher education and so is the Business School. The Centre for Organisational Research (COR) is the collective organisation of researchers in the Business School. We're not your average Business School. Our research covers areas such as regionally biodiverse economies, the management and financing of innovative and knowledge producing organisations, marketing in complex and fast moving environments, the transformation of universities, ethics, women and technology, managing in cross cultural environments, the social implications of the gambling industry, sovereign debt recovery and post-conflict reconstruction, women and leadership, volunteers in the voluntary sector and much, much more.
The key thought initiatives that inform our work are: Governance; human wellbeing and flourishing in organisational contexts; social, organisational and technological innovation; building and maintaining relationships in business; knowledge, expertise and learning in organisational contexts.
We're busy creating a post-financial crisis business school for the 21st century. Our aim is to help create sustainable economies that underpin and support sustainable communities and strong, democratic societies.
