On-campus accommodation

We offer a wide range of accommodation on-campus for undergraduate and postgraduate students, with new students in their first year at the university having priority. For your following years at Roehampton, we provide a selection of on-campus rooms and lots of help and advice in finding accommodation in the local area.

Every room is a single occupancy (we do not provide accommodation for couples or families) furnished bedroom with internet access. Fees also include utility bills and contents insurance. Our halls are signed up with The Student Accommodation Code.

Rooms are either en-suite, semi en-suite (with a private shower) or standard (there are basins in these rooms) where you share bathroom facilities with other students.. All of the accommodation is self-catered with shared kitchen facilities available in each flat / area. Some en-suites have larger beds or balconies and different facilities due to being newly built (Elm Grove Hall & Chadwick Hall). These are called Premium.

Flat reps and Wardens live within accommodation to provide support and information to all resident students.

Please come to one of our Digital Open Days to get a feel for our campus and accommodation. When Government guidance allows, we will resume weekly Campus Tours and Campus Open Days where you’ll be able to take tours of the campus and view the rooms. Due to students being in residence and conference guests it is not possible to view accommodation at any other time.

We are offering students the option to live with other students who have an interest in quieter, more study focused accommodation. Students living in these areas would be expected to adopt a moderated lifestyle within their accommodation in respect of alcohol, parties and noise. We are not saying the flat will completely quiet or alcohol free, but hope to provide an alternative by housing students together who request this option. If you wish to apply for this type of accommodation please add Quiet Flat to the text box in the other information section when applying for accommodation. We are unable to guarantee that we will be able to allocate you to this type of accommodation as it subject to availability and dependent on how popular this type of accommodation is.
