The University's BSc in Human Resource Management (HRM) has been awarded a professional accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the professional body for HR and people development.

The accreditation will give all students access to a wealth of resources through their student membership, which the University has committed to paying for all HRM students during their first year. These resources include:

  • Study guides and practical podcasts
  • Access to HR, business and learning and development journals
  • Invitations to local CIPD brand events
  • Access to an online community forum to discuss with and learn from professionals

In order to secure the accreditation the University went through a rigorous process, which involved demonstrating how the BSc HRM programme is aligned to the CIPD's standards for good practice, adheres to their code of professional conduct and that Roehampton staff are committed to delivering a high quality HRM programme that supports students with their future HR career.

Dr Christina Evans, Deputy Director of Roehampton Business School said, "we are thrilled to have been awarded this accreditation, which recognises our commitment to providing a degree which gives our students the very best foundation for a successful career in HR. The resources and events students will be able to access through their membership will be invaluable to them as they progress through their degree."
