Welcome from the Head of Digby Stuart College

Welcome! If you are thinking of, or planning to, study here I want to greet you and let you know that we are here to help you feel welcome, grow and flourish. These are exciting times for the College as years of lockdown are left behind and we plan innovative new initiatives in the run up to our 150th anniversary (2024) and beyond.

The College is a community of students living on site, commuting to study , learning online and doing all of those as both full time or part time students. It is also the focus of a lively social life, opportunities to take responsibility and to engage in debates, work experience, sporting and creative challenges as well as encounter networks of allies and mentors to help you have the best start – or restart – in life. With a distinctive ethos which you can read about here we are Roehampton’s largest college and home to its Schools of Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences.

If you are a former student, or visiting to find out more about our programme of events, seminars and research , or to explore possible collaborations at home and abroad, then you are equally welcome and do feel free to be in touch.

For nearly 150 years we have been empowering students, communities, people of faith and from every background to build secure and fulfilling lives, to serve others and reach their potential. This is still our passion.

Best wishes
