Operational Status
The University has implemented a five-stage system to indicate how learning, teaching, research and services will be provided during the 2020/2021 academic year. The stage the University is at will dictate how the campus is operating and which facilities and services are available.
Please note, this alert system is different to that used by the Government.
Our current level of operation:
Our spacious parkland campus is open for students and staff to enjoy safely. This includes our teaching facilities, library and accommodation, all with appropriate physical distancing in place.
We plan to provide blended learning: combining physical teaching and learning on campus, delivered in a safe environment, with larger lectures online. We intend to be as flexible to our students needs as we can be and we will therefore also provide the option of studying entirely online for the first term, where this is possible.
We know that things are likely to change over the next few months and this five-stage alert system will allow us to monitor and respond to the current situation, whilst keeping our students and staff safe.
You can read a full FAQs on how we are protecting our community here.

Covid secure guideline verification
The University of Roehampton has passed the NQA Covid Secure Guideline Verification that assesses how organisations meet the government guidance to create Covid safe environments. External auditors undertook a two day campus audit to asses the University's compliance with the government guidelines and we were able to demonstrate the standards and arrangements we have put in place to keep our community safe and secure.
The NQA verification certificate is available here.
As always, the safety of staff, students and the wider community is our priority and work will continue across the University to ensure we always meet the safety standards set by the government.
