Vice-Provost (Planning and Corporate Engagement)
Mark took up the post as Deputy Provost, Planning & Corporate Engagement in September 2019. Before that he was Deputy Provost, Academic Development having joined the University as Director of Roehampton Business School in November 2017. Since joining us he has developed a robust business plan for RBS, and initiated enhancements to the course portfolio and proposition, introducing placement modules and expanding professional accreditation. He has also worked with his team to continue to transform the student experience.
Prior to working for us, Mark worked at the University of Worcester for 11 years, as Head of the Business School and latterly as Deputy Pro Vice Chancellor, Academic Development. Before joining the University of Worcester, Mark worked at the University of Central England (now BCU) for 9 years and Bass PLC for 7 years. Mark holds an MPhil degree in Geography, Masters qualifications in Marketing and Education, and has recently published a number of journal articles on international and UK part-time students and employability.
