Impact
Impact is central to our research, and we collaborate with a wide range of organisations – religious, educational, and political – in order to shape the practices and frameworks of the relevant stakeholders.
Andrew Rogers’ research on space and public planning for religious minorities, especially Black Majority Churches, has informed changes in policy and shaped the practice of government and planning professionals.
Martin Poulsom’s research has supported his collaboration with Operation Noah, a Christian charity working with the Church to inspire action on the climate crisis in collaboration with environmental NGOs and other interest groups.
Clare Watkins’ Theological Action Research has worked with external bodies including Marriage Care and the British Methodist church to develop participative research into questions of organisational ethos, pedagogy, mission development.
