Posted: 24 May 2013

Trevor Dean, the Head of Department, was pleased to accept a Gold Award under the Green Impact scheme on behalf of his colleagues. In accepting the Award, Trevor paid warm thanks to the Departmental Officer, Irene Gerlach, who has led the many actions that were necessary to achieve Gold. These included: running paperless meetings, attaining over 80% of student assessments submitted online, leading a project to encourage other parts of the University to order recycled stationery, embedding environmental principles among staff and students.
