Here at the University of Roehampton we warmly welcome students from Indonesia. 140 countries are represented by our international students at the University, including approximately 10 Indonesian students studying University of Roehampton undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes.

For students who do not yet meet the required level of English, you can take a preparation course at the University of Roehampton before commencing your degree programme. We offer a range of Pre-sessional English courses for students who need to develop their English, and the International Foundation Certificate and Pre-masters certificates are on offer for students who need further study in their subject area as well as English language tuition.

Recent Developments in Indonesia

The University of Roehampton is proud to be participating in The Indonesia – UK DIKTI scholarship programme. The DIKTI scholarship programme is an Indonesian Government scheme offering 750 fully funded scholarships over the next five years to permanent or prospective faculty members at Indonesian universities and administrative staff employed by DIKTI or Indonesian state universities covering all academic disciplines.

Each scholarship will cover the costs of three years of PhD study including tuition fees and accommodation. Some master's degrees may also be funded.
The University of Roehampton has been selected as one of the UK Universities' participants in this scheme and is offering Indonesian students the opportunity to complete a full-time three year PhD programme across a range of academic areas. At the University of Roehampton we have a growing community of international students and a very active Student Union. We have over 40 well established societies, including international societies, and to grow each year, with emphasis on development and student engagement.
