Creative Writing Day 2013

Celebrated author A.S. Byatt will discuss getting her first work published when she gives the opening address at this year's Creative Writing Day.

A.S. Byatt and Roehampton alum Joshua Idehen will be among the guests at the Creative Writing Day.

On March 27th, the Department of English & Creative Writing will be hosting its latest Creative Writing Day Soiree, where winners of our annual competition will read work from the upcoming anthology.

The opening address will be by A.S Byatt on her first work published. Other guests will include Rob Shearman, James Smythe, Patience Agbabi, and alum Joshua Idehen.

The event is open to all, including the general public. It will be held in the Portrait Room, Grove House, Froebel College; please arrive at 6.45 for a 7.15pm start. Tickets are available on the day but can also be bought in advance (£4/£3 concessions) at the Roe  online store.
