Roehampton Dance lecturer Hanna Gilgren and her co-director Heidi Rustgaard have received a prestigious commission for The Place Prize 2012. Their work will be one of 16 new works commissioned for the new edition of The Place Prize for dance which will premiere at The Place in September 2012.
Founded in 1999, h2dance is jointly directed by Hanna Gillgren and Heidi Rustgaard. They produce provocative performance work that addresses political and gender issues with humour and emotion.
Over the summer Roehampton Dance students will also be working with h2dance and presenting their work at SifDans (Student International Festival of Dance) hosted at the University of Bedfordshire.
State-of-the-art new therapy is offered to the community
The University of Roehampton is inviting members of the community to come forward for free therapy sessions - as part of an innovative new therapy research programme aimed at helping people who are experiencing depression.
