Since 2012 Roehampton has been working with the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) – the world's leading defence and security thinktank, situated in London. Professor John Louth is a director of RUSI and specialist advisor to the House of Commons Select Defence Committee. We currently have four dually-located PhD students jointly funded by the University and RUSI: Joanne Mackowski, Lauren Twort, Gabriela Thompson and Simon Jewell.  From 2015-16, the University will be offering a Masters in Defence Business and Management in partnership with RUSI

Roehampton and COR have a strong partnership with the Methodist Church building on the origin of Southlands College, where the School is located. In April 2014 the new Susanna Wesley Foundation (SWF) - the Southlands Methodist Centre for Ministry, Management and Organisation was established to explore understandings of management, leadership and organisation in faith communities and religious institutions.  The Foundation is based in the Business School and Sue Miller acts as Research Coordinator with Dr Lia Shimada who is a Visiting Researcher and Luke Curran who is a SWF sponsored PhD student.  The Foundation is undertaking a number of research projects in conjunction with the Business School and across the University. 


Professor Sabine Benoit has a substantial and continuing funded research relationship with major German-based wholesaler Lekkerland.  This work primarily involves the investigation of on-the-go consumption issues.


Professor Wilson Ng from the Centre for Organisational Research is currently a non-executive director of two subsidiary companies of Gimv nv, a risk capital provider quoted on Euronext. This partnership allows significant knowledge transfer in the area of SMEs and innovation, East Asian financial markets and commerce.
