Romantic Illustration: Painters, publishers, prints and the public 1770-1840
Romantic Illustration is a network project organised jointly with Tate Britain. Its aim is to investigate this neglected area of Romantic studies and to bring back to light a lost literary-visual culture of paintings, prints and illustrated editions. The network will be launched in the summer of 2014. Further details and a link to a dedicated website will appear here soon.

  Hispanic Horizons 1780-1840
This network project will re-examine the impact of the peninsular wars (1808-14) on British, European and Latin-American culture and politics. It will be launched in May 1814 as part of a BARS anniversary conference on the cultural reception of the first defeat of Napoleon in 1814. Further details and a link to a dedicated website will appear here soon.
